In line with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) of 25th May 2018, we have created a Privacy Policy for FNT.
As a social club, FNT (thereafter referred to as ‘the Club’), we hold personal data for all our members. This data includes the members names, addresses, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses. We hold this information during the time they are members of the ‘Club’ and until one year after they leave. This is to give us the opportunity to find out the reasons for their departure and if there is anything we can do to support them in the future. All personal data will then be deleted by the Club Secretary.
This personal data can only be accessed by the Chair, Club Secretary, the Membership Secretary and the Diary Secretary. Members can choose if they wish to share their telephone numbers on the Programme of Events so that other members can contact them if they wish to attend an event they have put on. E-mail addresses are used to send out the Programme of Events every month, the annual AGM minutes and Agenda or to provide additional information about the Club’s activities. Members of the Committee are sent copies of the Minutes and the Agenda for the Club meetings via email. Personal data will not be shared with any third parties.
